Minors Baseball

O’Keefe Drilling 2, Pork Chop Johns 0
Jacoby Baughman was a “strikeout king” for O’Keefe Drilling and his battery mate Preston Kelly was a brick wall behind the plate. Chase Garland hit with warning track power to help his team land the victory. No game report was logged by Pork Chop Johns.

Montana Broom and Brush 5, Ancient Order of Hibernians 1

The Broom and Brush victory was aided in part by great pitching from Ryan Peoples, Alex Thompson hit the ball hard and Jaxon Williamson scored two runs. Carter Barsness had two hits for the home team, which also received some great defense by Eli Corbin and Donovan Gamez.

9-10 Majors Baseball

Driscoll Pharmacy 16, Pepsi 8

Cory Anderson pitched a fantastic game for Driscoll Pharmacy. He was backed up with big hits by Brayden Doherty and David Babb. Jonas Sherman was the man on the mound for Pepsi finishing the game with five strikeouts, Omar Supulveda (two singles), Eric Schulty (two doubles), and Cameron Medina (single) all pounded out hits.

Universal Athletic 19 (Northwest), Air Exchange Oxygen 4   

Derek “Jeter” Dunmire pitched a complete game three-hitter with nine “K’s,” he also had two singles and three RBI’s. “Midnight” Ryder Hettick had two hits and five runs batted in and Max Bisch reached base three times and scored three runs for UAS. Marcus Kovonesky threw strikes all night long, John McCarthy played excellent defense and Devin Rossiter showed excellent sportsmanship for Air Exchange.

Montana Broom and Brush 15, Air Exchange Oxygen 4

For MBB, Kyle Holter continued his stellar hitting by going 3-3 with two home runs and a double, Zane Fredlund pitched great and Garrett Sharp was just that behind the plate. Cohwen Houchin pitched and fielded his position excellentl for AEO. Triston Belisario hit the ball hard, and Justin Lee was a force behind the plate.

Dennehy Flooring 13, Hanging Five 13

Dennehy Flooring pounded the ball with hits from Will Stepan (2 for 2), Lance Wyatt (2 for 2), Daniel Harrington (single) and Riley Luebeck (single). No game log was reported by Hanging Five.

Citizens Bank 11, Universal Athletic (Northwest) 0

Trey Hansen kept the high powered Citizens offense down for 2+ innings racking up five strikeouts, Mason Pennell reached base twice and Mathew Fury had two good at-bats in the UAS loss. No game report was logged by Citizens Bank.

Front Street Station 9, Pepsi 3

Front Street Station got two hits (double and triple) from Kolbe Lammi, Greyson Gillis reached base three times and RBI Kershaw Mellot had an RBI single. Cameron Tobiness had a strong pitching performance For Pepsi. He was backed-up by the hitting of Eric Schulty and the baserunning of Trent Holstad.

11-12 Majors Baseball

Royce’s 7, Deer Lodge Starr Dental 4

Three home runs (two by Brody Freeman and one by Evan Smith) deposited over the left field fence weren’t enough for Starr Dental to take out Royce’s. Thanks to the hitting of Kyler Raiha (two singles) and Aiden Pezdark who had three hits. Rylan Richards closed the door and earned the save notching seven strikeouts over the final three frames.

Taco Johns 4, Photostars 3

Taco Johns broke a tie game in the bottom of the sixth for the walk-off win. Hunter Bugni was the winning pitcher, he also scored two runs. Ryan Burt and Brady Shannon were the big hitters for Taco Johns. Photostars received some great pitching from Andrew Booth. Jacob Olsen and Drew Badovinac led the charge offensively.

Anaconda Pioneer Technical 8, Photostars 1

Pioneer Technical powered past Northwest’s Photostars thanks to the bat of Sean Kelleghers and Julian Callison’s four-hitter. Photostars’ top hitters were Gian Reynolds, Andrew Booth and Brayden Guidoni.

Royce’s 13, Coke 3

Peyton Hettick earned the win for Northwest’s Royce’s pitching a complete game, he also had two doubles. “The Burger Boys” also received RBI’s from Nick Hennessey (3) and Ethan McGillen (2). Kale Farrington showed his hustle after singling, Blake Drakos doubled and Aidan Lee had nine strikeouts for Coke.

Photostars 17, Anaconda Coke 9 

Austin Ellis’ 205-foot double catapulted Photostars to a huge win over Coke. Andrew Booth recorded the win and Brayden Guidoni had two hits. Coke battled back from a 10-run deficit behind the bats of Eli Saltenberger and Hunter Collingsworth.

Photostars 11, Stenson Therapy 5

Dominik Scown and Andrew Booth got two hits each to pace Northwest’s Photostars to a soggy 11-5 win. Jacob Olsen recorded the “W” on the mound. No game log was reported by Stenson Therapy.

Yates Body Shop 10, Anaconda Coke 5

Casey Kautzman pitched five strong innings, Jakob Nielson played great defense and Kenley Leary hit a homerun to help Yates take out Coke. No game log was reported by Anaconda Coke.

9-10 Girls Softball

PJ Trophy 11, Deer Lodge Medical Center 2

Jaycee Cleveland had multiple strikeouts and was consistent at the plate, Joci Petroni tripled to start a big second inning rally and Kameryn Leprowse played great defense for PJ’s. No game log was reported by Deer Lodge Medical Center.

PJ Trophy 7, Pioneer Technical 6

Olivia Phillips scored the game winning run in walk-off fashion for PJ Trophy, Natalie Lynch and Korynn Paul provided run scoring hits and Izabella Carpenter made a great play in her pitching debut. No game log was reported by Pioneer Technical.

Bagdad Shrine 16, PJ Trophy 7

The stellar pitching of Brooke Badovinac was enough to keep PJ’s down. Cami Kautzman provided a base hit for the Shrine and Harlee Muffich played stellar at catcher. Olivia Phillips played great defense and Evaleena Taylor reached base multiple times.
