Following are the game reports for Week 4 of the Mining City Little Guy Football program. Games are played Thursdays and Saturdays at Copper Mountain Park.
Thriftway Giants 12, Universal Athletic Dolphins 6
Logan Costello busted a pair of touchdowns runs, and Brennan Hodges was a giant on both sides of the ball to lead the Giants to the win. Tyrel Turnsplenty, Braydon Leppala and Sawyer Casey played great defense.
Beau McGree played great defense and made a great catch for the Dolphins. Gavin Miranda and Teagan Yelenich added some great D, while Carter Cooney and Mick Paffhausen were awesome on both sides of the ball.
Steele’s Falcons 24, Buffalo Wild Wings Steelers 13
The white stuff on the ground brought out the best in Tyce “Snowman” Snow, who ran for a touchdown in the win. Blake Wadas and “Major” Miner Lee also scored for the Falcons. Joshua Sutton, Jace Michlig and Kasen O’Keefe led the defense. James Hocking got the team fired up throughout the game.

Casagranda’s Seahawks 26, Glacier Bank Rams 0
Ethan Abraham played a great game at center to lead the offensive line, and Darryn Rossiter busted a tough run for a TD as the Seahawks stayed unbeaten. Tino Riojas made some great tackles, and Kadyn Sommer played hard on both sides of the ball.
Miles Gasser played lock-down corner, and Logan Stephenson was a force on both sides of the line for the Rams. Chase Fulton stepped up and had some great plays at quarterback, and Landon Berge put together a solid performance.
Pioneer Technical Packers 12, Lisac’s Tire Raiders 0
Gunner Bushman and Logan Carden made nice touchdown runs to lead the Packers in the win. Middle linebacker Keghan Cline tackled well sideline to sideline, Keegan Hunt tackled and contained well at cornerback.
Shamus Richmond played strong defense, and Bridger Brancamp got in a couple of sacks for the Silver and Black. “Knight” Ryder McEwen forced a couple of fumbles, and Marquis Abad played strong on the defensive line. “Hammerin’” Henry Harrington ran strong, Levi Wiltsie blocked a couple of passes, and Blake Chambers made a couple tackles.
Harrington Pepsi Patriots 14, Opportunity Bank Buccaneers 13
Calvin Cunningham scored two touchdowns, and Tagan Duffy kicked the game-winning PAT for the Patriots. Maxwell Lynch and Titan Johnson played great on both sides of the ball. Gage Cline made plays all game long.
Tucker Kissell scored, and Lincoln Saari converted an extra point for the Bucs. Treigh Hollow had a career game with a score, sack and multiple tackles.
First Citizens Cowboys 34, Keith Sayers Redskins 24
Chase White led the offensive line to a great rushing attack as the Cowboys picked up the win. Gunnar O’Brien made a great catch in the back corner of the end zone for the go-ahead score. Conner Espelin made some great plays at corner, and Andrew Richardson led the defensive line with great pressure and tackles on the edge.
Eddie Panisko picked off a pass, and Koda Schleeman made a scoop and score to get the Redskins back into the game. Conner “GOAT” Craddock, Riley Lopez, Jack Nylund, Franklin Oliver and Bobby McCarthy played a terrific game on the offensive line. Teghan “Lightning” Sparks and Bradey Doyle contributed TDs in a great effort.
Newland and Company Bears 32, Lil Copperheads Bengals 28
Lavin Giacomino scored two touchdowns, and Jay Mullaney caught a TD as Da Bears picked up the win. Aaron Porter played great offense and defense, Rigley Vincent blocked great and tackled well, and Talise Gillette had gutsy performance on both sides of the ball.
