Following are the game roundups from Week 4 of the Mining City Little Guy Football League. All games are played Thursday evening or Saturday morning on the George Paul Fields at Copper Mountain Park.
Glacier Bank Bengals 28, Newland and Company Bears 8
Torre Dunmire played quarterback to allow for Tocher Lee to play running back, and the two formed a dynamic duo for the Bengals. Dunmire tossed a pair of touchdown, and Lee provided a couple of electric runs. Coy Campbell caught a touchdown pass, while Karsen McEwen stood out at linebacker. Jason Johns, Cooper Hanson, Isiah Cullen and Brenden Snow all played great defense for the Bengals.
Colby “Flash” Gordon caught a TD pass for the Bears. Lucas Harris-Huerta was a force on both sides of the line, Gavin Rowe was tough at defensive end, Gannon Alt was a shut-down corner, and Jordan McMurray played hard on the defensive line.
First Citizens Cowboys 24, Buffalo Wild Wings Steeles 6
Anthony Alkire, Aaron Porter and James Griffith played great defense as the Cowboys picked up a win. Kaleb Celli hauled in a touchdown pass, and J.J. Taylor was an animal on both sides of the ball.
“Midnight” Ryder McEwen had a couple of big runs, including one for a TD to lead the Steelers. Bridger Brancamp played great on both sides of the line, while Blake Chambers made some tough runs at quarterback. Jacoby Baughman added some big plays on defense.
Americas Vikings 30, Al Ciallella Lil Copperhead Colts 16
Jakoby “The Playmaker” Demessemaker played phenomenal on both sides of the ball, and Ethan Abraham played great on the defensive line to lead the unbeaten Vikings. Remy Scholler had a great touchdown run, and Keltan Keane played great on defense.
Highlights for the Colts were not submitted.
Universal Athletic Dolphins 37, Casagranda’s Chargers 0
Toston Halverson scored two touchdowns, while Raeder “Touch Of” Grey and Blake Wadas each added one in the Dolphins’ victory. Jaxon Hiatt and Kasen O’Keefe led the defense in the win.

Keith Sayers Redskins 26, Steele’s Falcons 0
Rhett Arntson scored on a punt return, while Mitch Verlanic threw a touchdown pass and scored on a run to lead the Redskins. Chase Lubick also hauled in a TD pass, and Keghan Cline scored on a long run. Howie Pearston booted a 2-point kick, the first of the year for the Redskins. Also, Camden Houchin made a nice reception, and Peyton Johnson, Logan Carden and Dublin Cooney all played great defense.
Chase Fulton had a huge game running the ball and playing defense for the Falcons. Kail Knutson, Keith Michael, Gannon Sullivan, Miles Gasser, Alex Thomas and Chase Fulton also played great defense.
Thriftway Giants 31, McQueen Athletic Club Patriots 0
The Giants had a big day on defense Danny McCarthy causing two fumbles and one pick six. Axel Lamler made a 10-yard touchdown receptions, and was a beat at center Jared Herrera.
Bladen Horne played awesome on both sides of the ball, and Xander “The X Man” Mattson made a great play to break up a pass for the Patriots. James Van Pelt ran nice routs, Beau Held blocked well without holding, and Bode “Beast Mode” Hazlett lived up to his nickname offensively and defensively.
Lisac’s Tire Raiders 28, Pioneer Technical Packers 18
Aiden Ossello was outstanding on defense, registering 14 tackles for the Raiders. Hunter Wheeler was a force on special teams, and Asher Palmer was huge on the offensive line.
Mason Purcell, Sam “The Man” Sampson and Hudson Luedtke ran for touchdowns to lead the Packers. Brenner Booth, Aiden Lester and Cassius “The Champ” Reed played hard on defense.
