During the game the Patriots had an amazing goal line stand, and also held the talented Falcons to only 6 points. Excellent secondary play from Jack Panisko, Lucas Day-Purcell, Reese Lyndes and Marcus Gleason prevented the Falcons from getting key completions in the end zone and from getting any large plays. The team did a great job swarming and tackling as a unit.
The offense faced a very tough Falcon defense and it took some time to get some movement. Huge blocking by the wide receivers Reese Lyndes, Jack Panisko, Lucas Day-Purcell and tight ends Lucas Coyne and Marcus Gleason helped paved the way for a beautiful QB bootleg get the second score of the game and the win. Bentley Detonancour and JJ Hardy had some great runs, and Dustin Watts hooked up with QB Hunter Snyder on a couple of great gains through the air. Cooper Kahtani and Hunter Snyder did a great job with with their exchanges between the QB and Center keeping the team free from fumbles despite the very wet/rainy conditions.
