Following are the game reports for Week 3 of the Mining City Little Guy Football League. Games are played Thursdays and Saturdays at Copper Mountain Park.
Casagranda’s Seahawks 17, Newland and Company Bears 0
Braylon Larson threw the ball well, and Will “The Thrill” McGree and Keltan “Stewie” Keane caught clutch passes to lead the Seahawks to the win. Colter Espelin and Darrell Orchowski hustled hard and played well.
Dominic Snyder recovered a fumble, Cole Coyne picked off a pass, and Gauge Lemler played great to lead the Bears. Brooks Vincent played well at quarterback, and Zeke, whose name stands alone, caught a pass.
First Citizens Cowboys 26, Steele’s Falcons 20
Hunter “The Legend” Davies and Colton Christian led the Cowboys up front blocking all day in the win. Jordan “The Wrestler” Scown made a great play to deflect a pass in the final minute, while Chase “Mister” White made some great open-field tackles at linebacker.
“Major” Minor Lee scored two touchdowns to pace the Falcons. Raeder “Touch Of” Grey and Tyce Snow ran well. Kasen O’Keefe and Jaxon Hiatt led the Falcon defense.
Harrington Pepsi Patriots 22, Thriftway Giants 20
Calvin Cunningham had a huge game for the Patriots, returning two kickoffs for touchdowns and busting a long touchdown run. Matt Marsenich registered three sacks and three forced fumbles, and Charliee Richter played great defense. Teagan Duffy and Daniel Gorman played awesome on both sides of the ball.
Patrick Ghiorso ran hard all day, and Casey Sawyer, Kanyon Flynn and Karter Hall played great offense for the G Men. Camden Ingraham, Colt Stenson and Teague Sullivan played stellar defense.
Opportunity Bank Buccaneers 12, Universal Athletic Dolphins 8
Bryson Hibbert and David Honer scored touchdowns to lead the Bucs to the win. Sakken Vail, Trae Chopper, Konner Aldred-Hanni and Hudson “Man Of” Steele played tenacious defense on the line.
Kodye Kjersten scored a touchdown for the Fins. Troy Samson played great at quarterback, Landon Klimpel played great defense, and Kuley Queer played great on both sides off the ball.
Pioneer Technical Packers 10, Glacier Bank Rams 0
Rhett Anderson hit Dublin Cooney for the lone touchdown in the Packers’ win. Arntson also made a tackle for a safety after Mitch Verlanic pinned the Rams with a punt. Lineman Logan Carden, Keegan Hunt, Howie Pearston and Peyton Johnson and linebackers Keghan Cline, Gunner Bushman and Verlanic led the defense.
Obadiah “Gronk” Breeton played great defense at middle linebacker, and Kendel “The Enforcer” Noctor made some big hits. Also, Joseph Ward was great at coverage at corner.
Little Copperhead Bengals 22, Lisac’s Tire Raiders 6

Marquis Abad scored a long touchdown run for the Silver and Black. “Knight” Ryder McEwen made a couple big tackles and runs, Bridger Brancamp was great on both sides of the ball, and Preston Jensen busted a couple of big runs.
Keith Sayers Redskins 18, McQueen Athletic Club Vikings 8
The Redskins kept rolling with continued great play at quarterback from Bradey Doyle. Koda Schleeman and Teaghan “Lightning” Sparks made some nice catches, and Ayden Abraham and Jared Herrera had sweet tackles for a loss. The key was a late goal-line stand to clinch the win, led by Riley Lopez, Jack Nyland, Bridger Garrison, Eli Johnson and the McCarthy Twins, Danny and Bobby.
