Little Guy Football roundup

Following is the Week 2 roundup of Little Guy Football games in Butte. Games are played on Saturday mornings at the Copper Mountain Sports Complex

First Citizens Saints 40, Papa Murphy’s Jets 0
Banner Cetrano had a banner day, rushing for four touchdowns to lead the Saints high-powered attack. Tanner Huff ran for a pair of scores, while linemen Riley Chiotti and Tanner “Strait Outta” Compton played great on both sides of the ball.

Madalyn “Winding” Rhodes and Jacob Olson tackled well for the J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets. Ethan Heggem and Braden O’Connell blocked well.

Quizno’s Patriots 30, Casagranda’s Cowboys 0
Egan “Safety” Lester was a monster on defense, registering two safeties to lead the Patriots to the victory. Luke Hardin recorded four solo tackles, while Ryan Neil and Jake “The Snake” Humphrey each scored two touchdowns. Bryan Holland played great on both sides of the ball to lead a stellar effort by the linemen.

Skyler “Raging” Waters and Billy “The Kid” Kelly made great defensive plays for the Patriots. Anthony Liva was the anchor of the offensive line, Konnor Liva played great at corner and Rylan Richards ran the ball well.

Rainbow Photo Colts 20, John’s Pork Chop Broncos 18
“Big Bad” Drew Badovinac scored twice and Dylan Snyder booted the extra points to lead the Colts past the Broncos. Cole Worley played solid defense, while Dream “Iron” Eagle and Keagan Johnson played great on the offensive line.

Jeffrey Staton hauled in a 25-yard catch, while Quinn “Fireman” Carey was on the receiving end of a 20-yard gain to highlight the Bronco performance. Colton Lombardo, “Mad” Max Demarais and Austin Harrington played outstanding defense.

Harrington Pepsi Eagles 24, Thriftway 49ers 0
Devon “Shake & Bake” Cook scored two touchdowns, Morgan McClernan scored one TD and Kooper Klobucar kicked three extra points to lead the Eagles to victory. Cole Stewart played well at quarterback and linebacker, while Mason “Samaria Master”¬†Pennell played strong defense and the offensive line blocked well.

Anthony Marcias played outstanding defense, and Makyle Clark ran the ball well for the 49ers. Rylan “Father” Mulcahy and Ryan Peck showed off tough blocking in the middle of the offensive line, and Colton Sutherlan stood out on the defensive line.

Lisac’s Tire Raiders 18, Newland/Summit Bears 0
Thomas “The Engine” McGree scored twice, while Tommy Mellott ran for a touchdown to lead the Raiders to victory. The TDs came thanks to great blocks by Tyler LeProwse. Jayden Thomas picked off a pass and Connor Webster played great defense in the win.

Jasper “The Ghost” Ueland and Christian “The Tank” Sherman ran hard behind a solid offensive line to lead Da Bears. The defense was tough the whole game thanks to the play of Quinn Sullivan, Cory “Wild” West and the Moreno twins.

Western States Insurance/Les Schwab Packers 28, Subway Steelers 6
Scout Allen led the way for the Packers, running for four touchdowns while also picking off a pass. Boyle, who needs no further identification, kicked three extra points, while Kylie and Logan Booth played corner really tough. A.J. White Wolf played outstanding defense, and Taro, who has also achieved one-name status, ran the ball really hard.

Jared Simkins scored a touchdown and Ryan Burt and Sean “Axel” Foley played solid defense to lead the Steelers. Kaylyn O’Neill did a great job blocking, while Kaven Noctor played a great all-around game.
