HAVRE — Mascio McCadney scored 20 points to lead the way Saturday night as MSU-Northern knocked off Montana Tech 65-61 in a Frontier Conference men’s basketball game at the Armory. (Stats)
Jomel Boyd added 15 points for the Lights, who outscored Tech 37-33 in the second half. The game was tied at 28 at the half. McCadney added four assists for Northern (3-3, 2-3).
Northern also got eight points from David Harris and four from Aaron Collins.
Sindou Diallo scored 27 points to lead the Orediggers, who fell to 5-5 overall and 5-3 in league play. Nate Ward added 11 points and three assists, and Cody Baumstarck tossed in eight points and grabbed nine rebounds.
The Orediggers also gout four points from Drew Huse and Bridger Larson, three from Markieth Brown Jr. and two apiece from Derrius Collins and Cody Liles.
Tech and Northern will play again at 4 p.m. Sunday in Havre.
