Lights take down Dawgs

HAVRE — Adam Huse scored 19 points to lead four MSU-Northern players in double figures Saturday night, and the Lights ran to a 92-64 Frontier Conference win over the Montana Western men’s basketball team. (Stats)

David Harris and Mascio McCadney each scored 18 points, and Kavon bey tossed in seven for Northern, which moved into a fourth-place tie with Montana Tech at 8-8.

The Lights hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Orediggers heading into the final week of the regular season. The fourth-place team hosts a Frontier Conference playoff game.

Derrek Durocher scored 11 points to lead the Bulldogs, who trailed 53-29 at halftime. Max Clark and Connor Burkhart each scored 10, Brian Howell tossed in nine, and Cedric Boone scored eight.
