Lee LaBreche tournament replaced with raffle in 2020

The second annual tournament honoring former Montana Tech golf coach Lee LaBreche has been called off over concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In its place this year will be the Lee LaBreche Memorial Scholarship Raffle, which will raffle off 25 drivers in 25 days. The first drawing will be held on Aug. 6, and each ticket costs $20.

Each winner will get to select a driver of his or her choosing. In addition to picking a driver, the final drawing winner will also receive a Montana Tech golf package. That includes Oredigger apparel, golf balls, tees and an Oredigger golf bag.

Tickets can be purchased at the Butte Country Club and Anaconda Country Club. They can also be purchased by calling or texting Aleesha LaBreche at (406) 490-1903, Kim LaBreche at (406) 498-4165, Moose Moodry at (406) 490-5377 or Shannon Moodry at (406) 310-0221.

The tournament, which debuted last August, will return in 2021.
