Monica Landdeck went off in a big way Friday night.
The Montana Tech senior guard hit five 3-pointers and scored a career-high 31 points as the Orediggers took on Lewis-Clark State College at the HPER Complex.
The big night wasn’t enough to stop the Orediggers from dropping their fourth straight game, however.
Hailey Turner scored 19 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, and the Warriors picked up an 83-76 victory in a game that saw six lead chances and seven ties. (Stats)
The Orediggers fell to 3-9 in the Frontier Conference and 11-13 overall with their fourth home loss in eight days.
Jossilyn Blackman and Lauren Johnson each scored 13 points for the Warriors, who improved to 5-6 and 14-8. Brittany Tackett scored 11.
Bailey Crawford scored 10 points for the Orediggers. Mesa Williams scored eight, while Kaylynn Coverdell tossed in seven.
Tech also got six points from Shay Potter, four from Kaylee Zard, three from Mollie Peoples and Hannah Sparks, and two from Bailey Armbruster and Kourtney Coverdell.
The Orediggers are back in action Wednesday when they play Carroll College in Helena. Lewis-Clark State will play Montana Western Saturday in Dillon.
