HELENA — The Kalispell Lakers scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning Sunday to take the lead for good in an 8-4 win over the Butte Miners in the third-place game of the 20^th Keith Sell Tournament at Kindrick Legion Park.

Kilian O’Leary homered in a 2-for-4 effort to lead the Miners. Jared Haran hit a double and a single, while Marcus Madrazo and Ryan Moodry each hit a pair of singles.

Zach Hart and Dylan McDonald each hit singles.

Patrick O’Connell hit two singles and Sam Crompton doubled to lead the Lakers.

Next up for the Miners is Tuesday’s conference doubleheader against Lethbridge at Copper Mountain Park. That win twin bill is scheduled for 3 p.m.
