KALISPELL — The Kalispell Lakers swept a non-conference American Legion Baseball doubleheader with the Butte Miners Sunday.
The Lakers won the opener 10-0 in six innings. They completed the sweep with a 15-5 victory in Game 2. The second game was called after five innings.
The Miners will look to shake off a tough start to the season in the northwestern part of the state when they play their home opener on Thursday. Butte will take on the Helena Senators at 7 p.m. at Miners Field at 3 Legends Stadium.

Max Holden pitched five innings of two-hit ball to get the win in the opener. He struck out two and walked two.
Elijah Owens tripled and drove in three runs to lead the Laker offense. Carven Vanaken and Grady Drish doubled in the win.
Egan Lester and Kian O’Neill smacked hits for the Miners. Reece Cox and Ethan Cunningham worked walks.
Kalispell Lakers 15, Butte Miners 5 (Boxscore)
Ayden Driean hit two doubles and drove in four runs to lead the Lakers to the win in Game 2.
Joe Schlegel and Kostyn Hoffman also hit doubles for Kalispell. Caleb Morgan pitched the distance for the win.
O’Neill and Hunter Hotalen doubled for the Miners. O’Neill drove in two runs.
Rylan Richards and Rye Doherty added singles for Butte. Hotalen drew a walk, while Max Demarais walked and drove in a run. Hunter Salcido also added an RBI for Butte.
