Lady Bulldogs fall to Missoula Sentinel

Butte High Lady Bulldogs (0-5/1-8) 28 Missoula Sentinel Spartans (4-1/7-2) 43

The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Missoula Sentinel Friday night to do battle with the Spartans. Missoula came out strong and beat the Bulldogs pretty convincingly.

The Spartans pressured Butte all night and the Lady Bulldogs just couldn’t handle it.

Coach Arntson said, “ rough one tonight, we didn’t handle their pressure well tonight. We had way to many turnovers and gave up too many offensive rebounds to be successful. We had some good moments, just not enough consistency.”

The loss brings the Lady Dogs record to 0-5 in conference and 1-8 overall their next game will be against Helena Capital next Thursday at home.

The Lady Spartans improved their record to 4-1 in conference play and 7-2 overall.

Dylann Bartoletti led the way for Butte with 7 points, Brityn Stewart had 6, Cadence Graham and Laura Rosenleaf each had 5 points, Emmarie Richards had 3, and Rian Ferriter had 2 for the Bulldogs

Missoula Sentinel was led by CC Size with 15 points and running mate Monroe Mastro had 11 for the Spartans. 1 comment
