SIOUX CITY — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2018 Daktronic Scholar-Athletes today. In total, 597 volleyball student-athletes earned the honor. Three student-athletes from Montana Tech qualified.
Senior Masha Korol, juniors Heather Thompson and Rachel Hadley were named to the prestigious list. All three are receiving the honor for the first time while also qualifying for the first time.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status to qualify.
