BILLINGS — Kloie Thatcher had another career night Thursday.
The true freshman scored 26 points to lead No. 17 Rocky Mountain College to a 59-55 win over No. 8 Carroll College at the Fortin Center. (Stats)
The 2018 Butte Central graduate connected on 6 of 7 shots from 3-point land. She sank 9 of 12 shots from the field. Thatcher also dished out four assists in the win that lifted the Battlin’ Bears to 5-2 in Frontier Conference play and 14-5 overall.
Brooke Jones scored 11 points for Rocky, while Justyn Julh added eight points and 10 rebounds.
Hannah Dean’s 18 points and 11 rebounds led the Saints (6-2, 14-5). Christine Denny scored 17.
Thatcher’s previous collegiate high-scoring game came on Saturday, when she scored 19 points in a win at Lewis-Clark State College. She has now reached double figures seven times in her freshman campaign.
Rocky will play host to Montana Tech on Saturday.
