GREGSON — Butte golfers Will Kilmer, Shaelyn Hafer and Alexis Williams claimed the top spot in their age groups during the Fairmont Invitational Monday at the Fairmont Hot Springs Golf Course.
The tournament was fourth stop on the South West Montana Junior Golf Tour.
Killer fired an 82 to share the victory in the Tiger Woods Division with Logan Teegarden of Clancy. The Woods Division is for boys 16-17. Taggart Sullivan of Helena was next at 87.
Hafer carded an 83 to run away with the Suzann Pettersen Division for girls 16-17. Butte High teammate Hailey Ogolin placed second at 98.
Williams shot a 97 to win the Stacy Lewis Division for girls 14-15. She beat fellow Butte golfer Tricia Joyce by four shots.
Riley Lawrence of Helena carded the low round of the day. He hit a 79 to win the Rory McIlroy division for boys 14-15. He beat Butte’s Houston Green by one shot. Butte’s Will Hoagland and Isaiah Weldon followed at 87 and 88.
In the nine-hole Phil Mickelson Division for boys 12-13, Tristan Hanson of Hamilton led the way with a 43. Max Feight of Whitehall placed second at 47, while Teigan Isakson of Fairfield was third at 48.
