Kehr’s 29 leads Wildkats in Western A opener

HAMILTON — Ryley Kehr had a big game to open the Western A Divisional girls’ basketball tournament this morning on the Dale Berry Court.

The Columbia Falls 5-foot-11 senior poured in 29 points to go along with nine rebounds as the Wildkats advanced to the semifinals with a 65-57 win over Corvallis. (Stats)

Kehr also dished out three assists, collected three steals and blocked a shot as Columbia Falls grabbed its 20th in win 21 games.

Trista Cowan added nine points in the win, Madysen Hoerner scored eigh, Lakia Hll tossed in six, and Hannah Schweikert scored six.

Lainie Albright scored 25 points to lead the Blue Devils (13-9), who head to loser-out play. Calla Haldorson scored 18.
