KC breakfast to benefit Mike Hogart

The Knight of Columbus holds a buffet style breakfast (French toast, hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage coffee and juice) the second Sunday of the month (October through April) at the hall at. 224 West Park Street.

Cost is $8 per person $20 per family.  Last year the KC donated the breakfast proceeds to Big Brother Big Sisters of Butte.  The October fundraiser allowed the KC to purchase 12 new coats for Butte’s Coat for Kids program.

The next KC breakfast is on Sunday, Nov. 10 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The proceeds will be donating to Mike Hogart to help with his medical expenses.

Earlier this year, Hogart suffered a stroke and then a few weeks later endured quadruple by-pass open heart surgery.  Hogart is a long-time Butte Central  football assistant coach and special teams coordinator and AWARE case-manager. He is well on the road to recovery, and the KC members wanted to do something to help a fellow Knight defray some of his medical expenses.

Hogart is a life-long Butte resident he is married to Clarissa Hogart.  He is also eldest son of Butte residents Bill and Mary Carol Hogart.

If you are unable to make the breakfast and would like to donate money to help Mike please send your donation to Mike Hogart c/o Butte K of C, PO Box 234 Butte, MT 59703.  Or drop the donation off at the Knights of Columbus after 3 p.m.
