WHITEFISH, Mont. — It is safe to say that McKenna Kaelber’s freshman season on the Montana Tech volleyball team has been a successful one.
Today, Kaelber was named the Frontier Conference Setter of the Week for the fourth time of the season.
The latest award comes after Kaelber led the No. 18 Orediggers to a pair of victories last week, sweeping Montana Western and No. 16 Rocky Mountain College at the HPER Complex.
Kaelber averaged 14.5 sets and two digs per set on the weekend. Kaelber posted match totals of 41 assists against Montana Western and 46 against Rocky.
The 5-foot-11 Pasco, Washington, native leads the conference in assists (905) and assists per set (9.3).
The Orediggers close out the regular season this week. Tech travels to Carroll College on Wednesday before playing at home against Lewis-Clark State on Saturday.
