Junior tour set for stop at Anaconda Country Club

The South West Montana Junior Golf Tour will stop Monday in Opportunity for the Anaconda Challenge.

Play begins with a 9 a.m. shotgun start at the Anaconda Country Club.

The stop is the second of the season and the first since the Butte “Kick-Off” Classic, which was two weeks ago at the Highland View Golf Course.

Last week’s Silver Bow Open at the Butte Country Club was washed out by rain and course flooding. A makeup date for that tournament has not been announced.

The next stop on the tour is the July 2 Powell County Invitational at the Deer Park Golf Club in Deer Lodge. The Fairmont Invitational is set for July 16.
