Butte, MT, this week’s athlete of the week is Bute Central junior Ella Moodry, she snagged her second-Class A javelin title in just 3 years, she still has her senior year to look forward to.
Moodry did so by throwing a mark of 133 Ft, 8 inches defeating Daeja Fike from Laurel who came in second-, also a junior, threw 131-1. Reverse roles from 22 and Moodry earned her revenge.
Moodry won her first state javelin crown as a freshman in 2021 with a throw measuring 125-10.
