BILLINGS — Butte High graduate Josh Panasuk ran to 12th place at the Yellowjacket Open at Riverfront Park on Saturday.

“Josh really came through today,” MSUB coach Dave Coppock said. “He has been struggling lately, but today moved into our third spot. He feels like he got on track, and is back where he should be.”
Benson Koech of Rocky Mountain College won the race in 19:30, beating Black Hills State’s Jonah Theisen by 14 seconds.
Garrett Love led MSUB, which placed third, by taking fifth in 20:01. Josh Jessop paced Montana Western with a time of 20:57, which was good for 27th place.
Black Hills State won with 30 team points. The University of Mary was next at 59, followed by MSU B at 65, Rocky at 83 and Western at 144.
Next up for the Panasuk Yellowjackets is the Great Northwest Athletic Conference championships, which is Oct. 22 in Western Washington.
