Johnson, Redbirds win two straight

OKLAHOMA CITY — Butte native Rob Johnson went 0-2 with two walks Saturday as the Memphis Redbirds knocked off the Oklahoma City RedHawks 8-7.

The catcher is now batting .217 on the season.

On Friday, Johnson went 1-4 with an RBI and a walk in the Redbirds’ 10-6 win over the RedHawks. He also threw out a would-be base stealer.

The Redbirds and RedHawks play again Sunday.
