Johnson homers in Redbirds loss

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Butte native Rob Johnson went 2 for 4 with a home run Saturday in the Memphis Redbirds’ 7-1 loss to the Nashville Sounds.

The catcher raised his batting average to .216 on the season. He has six home runs and four doubles in 40 games for the Triple-A club.

The Redbirds play Nashville again Sunday.
