SEELY LAKE — Joby Rosenleaf is a Snow Joke champion.
The Butte High senior ran to the women’s overall title in half marathon Saturday. She also won the Bushman division for runners 16-39 with a time of 1 hour, 29 minutes, 11 seconds.
Rosenleaf beat second-place Heather Fraley of Kalispell by more than two minutes. Butte’s Rebecca Smith placed fourth in the Bushman division with a time of 1:36:22. Ashley Choquette of Butte was eighth in the age group at 1:40:09.
Butte runner Amber Wood-Jensen won the Zulu division for runners 40 and older. She clocked in with a time of 1:36:07 to bet the second-place runner by more than 8 minutes.
Butte’s Ozzie Rosenleaf placed third in the men’s 40-plus division in 1:27:59. Helena’s Jesse Zentz won the race by a wide margin, finishing in 1:14:55.
Matt Lautzenheiser of Missoula placed second in 1:26:25.
Butte runners Jessica Condon, Mallory Novack, Courtney Berge, Suzy McLernan, Rody Vetter, Mike Carden, Gary Hoar, Tom McDunn and Bill Ryan also finished the race.
