Montana Tech golfer Isaiah Weldon has accomplished quite a bit on the golf course over the years.

On Thursday, the former Butte High standout finally joined the exclusive ace club.

While playing a practice round for this weekends Tom Hitchcock Memorial, the left-handed Weldon hit his first career hole in one. Weldon used a 7-iron to ace the 196-yard No. 6.

The shot landed about 10 feet short of the hold and rolled in. Oredigger teammate Jace Rhodes witnessed the shot.

Weldon, a valedictorian of the Butte High Class of 2018, is a senior at Montana Tech. He earned first-team all-conference honors this past school year. Weldon was also named to the Academic All-Conference team.
