Icedogs avenge defeat, down Cobras 5-1

BOZEMAN — Five different Bozeman players scored goals Saturday night as the Icedogs avenged Wednesday’s loss to Butte with a 5-1 NA3HL Frontier Division win over the Cobras at the Haynes Pavilion. (Stats)

The Icedogs led 4-0 before Randy Yeakley got the Cobras on the board with a goal late in the third period. Zane Cluphf and Cory Kane assisted on the goal.

Kai Kingery, Tae Evans, Justin Hayward, Eric Thompson and Luke McKay scored for the Icedogs. Netminder Brendan Pallerito turned away 32 shots in the win.

Next up on the Butte schedule is a home game next Saturday against Missoula. The Cobras, however, had their last home game moved to Helena because of COVID-19 concerns.
