No. 1 Great Falls Russell beat No. 2 Helena High Friday night. That means only two teams in the Class AA are 6-1, Russell and No. 3 Butte High.

The Bulldogs beat the Rustlers by three touchdowns in the season opener. It will be interesting to see if the voters keep CMR at No. 1 and Butte High at No. 2, even though the teams have played.

The Associated Press Power poll will be released Wednesday. The AP will move a “how they fared” for all classes on Sunday. Following is a look at how the top 5 teams in Class AA fared on the football field Friday night.

No. 3 Butte High beat unranked Missoula Big Sky 42-28.

No. 4 Kalispell Glacier beat Missoula Sentinel 51-14.

No. 5 Billings West beat Billings Senior 22-14.
