Butte’s Montana Junior League team just brought home another State Championship and in great fashion, after being down most of the game they found a way to dig deep and win in extra innings to defeat Laurel.
This great group of young men and coaches are now headed to Bend Oregon August 2-10th for a chance to represent Montana in the Junior Little League Regional tournament, and they need our help to get there!
You can donate to their Venmo account directly at @MileHighLittleLeague or scan the code below:
The team is a blend of Mile High and Northwest Little Leaguers and those players are, Bryson Hibbert, Hugh O’Brien, Kodye Kjerten, Noah Powers, David Honer, Mile Choquette, Sawyer Casey, Camden Ingraham, Tucker Kissell, Tegan Duffy, Calvin Cunningham, and Treigh Hollow.
The Junior team is coached by head man Mike Duffy assisted by Chad Powers, and Joe O’Brien.
Butte will now see the likes of some California teams Oregon, Utah, Hawaii, Idaho, Alaska, Arizona, and Nevada. The winner of this will represent the West Region and compete for the Junior League World Series in Taylor Michigan. Best of luck boys!
