DILLON — Michael Haverfield scored 16 of his game-high 23 points in the second half Thursday night, and the Dillon boys’ basketball team topped Butte Central 56-46 in a Southwestern A game at the B.W. Lodge Gymnasium.

The loss was the second straight for the Maroons (13-2, 7-2), who started the season with 13 consecutive wins.

Haverfield scored 10 of his points from the foul line as the Beavers salvaged the regular-season spilt with the Maroons.
