Devyn Asche added 12 points in the win for the Hardrockers, who improved to 7-13 on the season. Alexis Long tossed in 10.
Mandy Machinal scored 13 points to lead the Orediggers, who fell 7-8 overall. Kelsey DeWit scored 13, and Shayla Mack, Martha Dembek and Sophia Baetz netted six apiece. Kabri Emerson scored five.
DeWit scored her 1,000 point for Montana Tech in the loss.
The Orediggers hit on just 30 percent of their shots from the field, while the Hardrockers connected on 45 percent.
Montana Tech is back at home and back in Frontier Conference action Friday and Saturday when they take on the University of Great Falls and Carroll College at the HPER Complex.
