BOZEMAN — Young Butte runners Hanna and Max Kluck represented the Mining City well Saturday at the USATF Montana Association Junior Olympic Championships cross country meet at the East Gallatin Recreational Park.
The sister and brother both placed fifth in their age group in 3,000-meter races.
Hanna Kluck took fifth in the 9-10 girls’ division with a time of 14 minutes, 24.40 seconds. Grace Stewart of Bozeman won the race in 13:08.31.
Max Kluck ran to fifth in the boys’ 11-12 division with a mark of 12:33.21. Unattached runner Matthew Nelson won with a time of 10:33.11.
The Kluck siblings ran as members of the Butte Trap Club.
