Hamilton’s Ryter signs with Western men

DILLON — Montana Western head basketball coach Steve Keller announced today the signing of Casey Ryter, a 6-foot-5 forward from Hamilton to an NAIA Letter of Intent.

Ryter was an honorable mention all-conference selection during his senior season in which he averaged more than six points per game. He also claimed the 2015 Billings Classic dunk contest championship. An all-around athlete, Ryter was twice selected to the soccer all-conference team as a goalkeeper.

“We are pleased that Kasey Ryter has decided to join our Bulldog basketball program,” Keller commented. “Kasey has great athleticism and is a very good three point shooter.”

Ryter is the son of Kendal and Ellen Ryter, and the four-year honor roll selection plans to major in biology at Montana Western.

“We think Kasey has a huge upside, and look forward to watching him progress as a Bulldog,” Keller said.
