The Butte Sports Hall of Fame committee has selected speakers for two events that will be taking place this weekend during Hall of Fame week.
Jim Fabatz, a member of the Hall of Fame committee, will be the master of ceremonies at the green jacket ceremony taking place on Friday night at the Butte Civic Center. The event begins with a no-host social at 7 p.m. The green jacket ceremony starts at 9. The event is free and open to the public. The eleven new members of the Butte Sports Hall of Fame will receive a green jacket during the ceremony.
Butte-Silver Bow Chief Executive Matt Vincent will be the master of ceremonies during the banquet and induction that will be held at the Butte Civic Center on Saturday. The event begins with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. The banquet starts at 7.
Tickets for the 2013 Butte Sports Hall of Fame banquet are now on sale at the Butte Civic Center.
The activities for the Butte Sports Hall of Fame weekend will kick off on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. with a team scramble golf tournament at the Highland View Golf Course.
