Hailee Farstveet transfers from Dickinson to Rocky

BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College women’s basketball coach Wes Keller today announced the addition of transfer Hailee Farstveet.

Farstveet, a 5-foot-10 guard, joins the Battlin’ Bears as a sophomore, after playing this past season at Dickinson State University (N.D.). She will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Farstveet averaged 11.6 points, while playing for the Blue Hawks. Farstveet earned several honors at Beach High School (N.D.), where she played for her grandfather, coach Bob Waldal. She was named the North Dakota Class B Senior Athlete of the Year; was a two-time All-State player and a three-time All-Region 7 performer. As a senior she averaged 15 points, five assists and three steals a game.

“Hailee has great court sense and can play multiple guard positions,” Keller said. “She has the ability to hit the pull up jumper as well as get to the rim. We are very fortunate to get a player of Hailee’s ability.”
