Greger’s 32 leads Oredigger men

SALT LAKE CITY — Adam Greger had a monster game tonight, scoring 32 points and pulling down 11 rebounds to lead the Montana Tech men’s basketball team to an 85-81 win over No. 20 Cal State San Marcos.

The game was part of the Westminster College Holiday Tournament.

Greger, a 6-foot-7 sophomore, hit on 11 of 14 shots from the field. He was 7 for 8 from the free throw line. He was joined in double figures by freshman Quinn Smith, who scored 10.

Travis Peevey scored nine points for the Orediggers, while Bryan Bock, Brandon Rydberg and Daniel Simon each scored eight. Tanner Neumann poured in seven.

Bock also dished out eight assists as Montana Tech improved to 5-2 on the season.

The Orediggers play at home Wednesday night against Whitworth (Wash.) University.
