Great Falls boys avenge loss to Bulldogs

GREAT FALLS — Dylan Tatarka scored 18 points, and Great Falls High pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 58-44 Eastern AA boys’ basketball win over Butte High Saturday.

LaRance Racine added 11 points in the win, which avenged a Jan. 3 loss in Butte.

Peter Granger scored 10 points for the Bulldogs, who saw eight different players score points. Kyle Peterson and Zach Bunney each scored six points, while Killian O’Leary netted five, Dallas Cook and Cory Fasrtveet scored four and Jake Dennehy tossed in three.

Great Falls High improved to 8-6 overall and 2-3 in conference play. Butte High fell to 2-10 and 1-5 with its sixth straight loss.

The Bulldogs head to Bozeman for an Eastern AA game on Thursday.
