Goligoski, Broncs down BC girls

HAMILTON — Taylor Goligoski scored 16 points to lead three Hamilton players in double figures late Saturday night as Hamilton topped Butte Central 53-36 in a Southwestern A girls’ basketball game.

Jaylee Albert hit three 3-pointers and added 13 points for the No. 3-ranked Broncs, who improved to 10-3 overall and 6-0 in league play. Sami Kratofil scored 10.

Sierra Pica paced the Maroons, who fell to 5-9 and 3-4, with 15 points. Emily St. John and Shelby Paffhausen each scored eight, while Mollie Peoples tossed in five.

The Maroons trailed 28-13 at halftime before heating up a bit in the second half.

BC is back in action Thursday when they play Dillon in a key league game in the Maroon Activities Center.
