Godbout Coca-Cola Classic ends in three-way tie

Three teams tied for the lead at the 34th Ron Godbout Coca-Cola Classic at the Butte Country Club.

The tournament concluded just before dark Sunday, thanks to a 2-hour rain delay.

The team of Jake Sharon and Trevor and Walter Tintinger followed a 60 on the first day with a 62 on Sunday for a 122 total. They tied with Mike Meredith, Ryan Rittal and Kurt Thompson and the team of Jake Mills, Marty Reilly and Jeff Kreyssler.

Those two teams shot a 61 each day.

Justin Donnelly, Ron Roesti and Brian Noctor shot a 59 to take the first-day lead. They slipped to a 65 on Sunday and finished in a fourth-place tie at 124.

They tied Mark Moodry, Neil Bolton and John Lappin, who shot 61-63.

Michael Reeve, Tyler Cross and Scott Sciuchetti tied with Chad and Mark Lisac and Pat Gannon for sixth place at 125.

In all, 80 three-person teams competed in the best-ball tournament.
