Players from Rocky Mountain College and the University of Great Falls were named the Frontier Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Attacker of the Week: Devon Bogart, University of Great Falls, is a 6-foot senior middle blocker from Redondo Beach, California. Great Falls lost to Carroll College 1-3 in their Frontier Conference opener. Bogart averaged 3.50 kills with a .571 attack percentage. Also nominated and listed in alphabetical order: Jordan Danz of Montana Tech, Erin Jensen of MSU-Northern, Kylie McCree of Montana Western, Crystal Schmidt of Carroll College and Mariah Stiffarm of Rocky Mountain.
Defender of the Week: Brooke Myers, Rocky Mountain College, is a 5-foot-9 senior libero from Cody, Wyoming. Rocky opened conference play with a 3-1 win over No. 23 Montana Tech and 3-0 over MSU-Northern. Myers averaged averaged 6.29 digs per set. Also nominated and listed in alphabetical order: Kennedy Chadwick of the University of Great Falls, Brianna DeCock of Montana Western, Angie Pancost of Montana Tech, Kylie Pasieka of MSU-Northern and Rebecca Sweeney of Carroll College.
Setter of the Week: Tori Bertsch, Rocky Mountain, is a 5-foot-11 senior setter from Post Falls, Idaho. Rocky opened conference play with a 3-1 win over No. 23 Montana Tech and 3-0 over MSU-Northern. Bertsch averaged 11.57 assists and four digs. Also nominated, listed in alphabetical order: Logan Clark of Montana Western, Bree Davis of the University of Great Falls, Jonni Dorr of Carroll College, Bauck Makenzie of Montana Tech and Emily Russell of MSU-Northern.
