Frontier names Academic All-Conference teams

Eleven members of the Montana Tech men’s and women’s basketball teams took home Academic All-Conference honors, the Frontier Conference announced Saturday.

To be eligible for the team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled at school the previous two semesters.

Reid Baerlocher, Mitch Buerkle, Paul Engstrom, Roman Pruneda-Garza and Brandon Rydberg were honored from the Tech men’s team.

Dannii Devenny, Kelsey DeWit, Erika Jenkins, Ivana Lacmanovic, Lisa Laslovich and Mandy Machinal received the honor from the women’s team.

Montana Western’s women saw 10 Bulldogs earn Academic All-Conference honors. They are Jenna Banks, Sammi Bignell, Kelsey Callaghan, McCall Hasquet, Kassi Kerbs, Auna Lawler, Brittney Leibenguth, Kaci Matthies, Alecia Wilson and Alaysha Whitworth.

Jackie Gebhard, Bailey Snelling and Alison Sullivan made the team from Carroll College.

Western’s Grant Fink, Austin Mailey, Tyler Miller, Jordan Overstreet and Gabe Rucker received the academic award. Ben Cutler made the team from Carroll.
