Missoula County Stadium at Missoula Big Sky High School will set the scene as Bulldog athletes get one last shot to qualify for next week’s Class AA State tournament in Butte. (Schedule)
Field events begin at 2 p.m., while track events start at 3 on the first day. Day 2 action begins with field events at 10 a.m. Track events start at 11.
Western A Divisional in Hamilton, 1 p.m.

Central already has a host of Maroons qualified for the Class A State meet, which is next week in Butte. The two-day divisional meet will give them a chance to add more.
Field events begin at 1 p.m. Friday, and track events follow at 2. Saturday’s action begins at 11 a.m. with field events. Running starts at noon.
Prep softball
Flathead at Butte High, 3 p.m.
The Bulldogs will celebrate Senior Day at Stodden Park, playing the first of two games this weekend.
Butte High will host Kalispell Glacier on Saturday to close the regular season. The Bulldogs enter the weekend at 6-6 in the Western AA and 8-12 overall. Flathead is 2-12 and 3-15.
The Bulldogs, who already have a berth in the Class AA State tournament locked up, will honor seniors Shanti Berkopec, Jordyn Bolton, Joscelyn Cleveland and Kodie Hoagland and their parents.
Stevensville at Butte Central, 4 p.m.
The Maroons are in a do-or-die situation as they celebrate Senior Day against the Yellowjackets.
Central is 5-6 in the Southwestern A and 7-10 after a late-season surge. A win will send BC to the Class A State tournament next week in Hamilton. A loss will likely be the end.
BC beat the Yellowjackets 12-10 when the teams play April 8 in Stevensville.
The Maroons will honor seniors Sofee Thatcher, Brenna Foley and Maggie Stimatz and their parents.
Legion baseball
Butte Miners at Belgrade Bandits, 6 p.m.
The Miners head to Belgrade for one game to start a busy weekend.
Butte will play host to the Bitterroot Bucks and Bitterroot Red Sox in doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday at 3 Legends Stadium.
The Miners are 4-4 after two sweeps of the Red Sox and Missoula Mavericks A last weekend.
Bozeman at Butte Muckers, 6 p.m.
The Muckers and Bozeman A will play two games at 3 Legends Stadium.
Butte is 3-3 entering the weekend. The Muckers play a twin bill at Anaconda on Sunday.
