Women’s College basketball
Montana Tech at Whitworth University, 8 p.m.
The Orediggers are in Spokane, Washington, for a pair of non-conference games. First up is Pirates, who will be playing their season opener.

Tech takes a 5-1 record on the road. The Orediggers’ last action was a 77-72 win over the College of Idaho last Friday in Dillon.

The Orediggers play Whitman College at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Men’s basketball
Montana Tech at College of Idaho, 7 p.m.
The Orediggers open the College of Idaho Classic against the host Yotes in Caldwell.

Tech takes a 5-2 record into the tournament. The Orediggers are coming off Monday’s 79-55 exhibition loss to the University of Montana in Missoula.

The Orediggers close the tournament against Multnomah University at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Hockey
Missoula at Butte Cobras, 7:30 p.m.
The Cobras will be in town for a pair of games this weekend at the Butte Community Ice Center. First up is the Junior Bruins.

The Cobras are coming off a pair of home losses to Gillette, Wyoming, last week. Butte fell just short in a 3-2 decision on Saturday.

Butte will host the Bozeman Icedogs on Saturday night. Cobra fans can skate with the Cobras following that game.
