Frontier Conference Championship in Helena
No. 15 Montana Tech will not know its opponent for its 7 p.m. semifinal match until Friday afternoon.
The Orediggers (21-8) received a bye and will take on the highest remaining seed. Regular-season champion University of Providence will battle the lowest seed at 5 p.m.
The tournament winner will receive the conference’s automatic bid into the 42nd NAIA Women’s National Championship.

11 a.m. — No. 4 MSU-Northern (4-6, 15-12) vs No. 5 Rocky Mountain College (3-7, 10-18)
1 p.m. — No. 3 Carroll College (5-5, 10-13) vs No. 6 Montana Western (1-9, 8-14)
5 p.m. — Semifinals: No. 1 University of Providence (10-0, 23-2) vs Lowest Remaining Seed
7 p.m. — Semifinals: No. 2 Montana Tech (7-3, 21-8) vs Highest Remaining Seed

Women’s college basketball
Montana Tech at Lewis-Clark State, 6 p.m.
The Orediggers look for their fourth straight win Friday when they take on the host Warriors in the Lewis-Clark State tournament.
Tech (3-2) is coming off Wednesday’s victory over No. 22 Bushnell University. The Orediggers play Eastern Oregon Saturday at noon. The Mountaineers received votes in the NAIA Top 25 preseason coaches’ poll.
Men’s college basketball
College of Idaho at Montana Tech, 7 p.m.
Not counting Saturday’s exhibition loss at the University of Houston, Orediggers (3-1) have won three straight heading into the Montana Tech Fall Classic at the HPER Complex.
First up in the two-day tournament is the No. 24-ranked Yotes. Tech will play Oklahoma City at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
No. 10 Carroll College will play at 5 p.m. each night. The Saints play Oklahoma City Friday before taking on COI on Saturday.
