Stodden Park is the site as the Bulldogs open Western AA play against Helena Capital.

The game is the season opener for both teams. Action begins with the junior varsity game at 3 p.m. Butte High’s varsity is looking for its first win of the season after going 0-4 in non-conference play.

Butte Central at Stevensville, 3 p.m.
The Maroons will play their Southwestern A opener a day earlier than planned.

A poor weather forecast for Saturday pushed the schools to move the game up to Friday. Central will be playing for the first time since dropping games to Polson and Columbia Falls March 26 in Polson.
