The Bulldogs (1-3) open Eastern AA play Friday when the Broncs come to town for a doubleheader on Field 1 at Stodden Park. The first game counts in conference standings, while the second game will be non-conference. The Bulldogs picked up their first win of the season Tuesday, beating Belgrade 15-10. Ashten McCloskey, Maria Michelotti and Amanda Spear each smacked three hits to lead Butte High’s 16-hit attack. McCloskey doubled, while Jenna Maroney tripled in the victory. The player to watch for Senior is Brittanee Fisher. She went 4 for 4 with two home runs and seven RBIs in last Friday’s 13-8 win over Missoula Sentinel. Butte High will host defending State champion Billings West in a noon doubleheader on Saturday. Both games will count in conference standings.
