Women’s College Basketball
Montana Tech at Rocky Mountain, 5:30 p.m.

The Orediggers (9-7, 2-2) try to get back in the win column when they head to Billings to take on the Battlin’ Bears (5-8, 2-1). Montana Tech is coming losses to the top two teams in the conference, Westminster College and Carroll College. Mandy Machinal, Kelsey DeWit and Laini Kalumbi average in double digits scoring to lead Tech into the key game. Brittany Kumm averages 12.4 points per game to lead the Bears, who also get 8.7 points and 2.5 assists per game from former Butte High Bulldog Kalli McCloskey.

Men’s College Basketball
Montana Tech at Rocky Mountain, 7:30 p.m.

The Orediggers (11-7, 2-2) aim for their third straight win when they take on the Battlin’ Bears (10-7, 1-2)  in the nightcap. The Orediggers beat Westminster College at home Saturday before beating Carroll College in Helena for the first time since 1994 on Wednesday. Adam Greger scored 25 points to lead Tech at Carroll. The Orediggers also got double digits from Daniel Simon, Bryan Bock and Brandon Ryberg in the win. Joel Brandt averages 15.8 points per game for Rocky.  Jeremy Nicolas averages 15.3.

Prep Wrestling
Butte High at Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic, 11:30 a.m.

The Bulldogs head west to get some serious mat time at one of the biggest tournaments of the season. Butte High is coming off a dual loss at Bozeman on Tuesday. Blake Bowen, Braxton Henningsen, Tommy Challeen and Bryce Armstrong got wins last time out.

Butte Central at Miles City Invite, 9 a.m.
The Maroons head east for a tournament that was a recent addition to the BC schedule. Clay Stillwagon is coming off his first-place performance at last week’s LeProwse Invitational in Bozeman.
