Montana Tech outscored the University of Providence 27-16 in the fourth quarter, and the Oredigger women’s basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 66-57 win Friday night at the HPER Complex. (Stats)
Mesa Williams poured in 17 points to lead three Orediggers in double figures as Tech improved to 2-7 in the Frontier Conference and 12-8 overall. Mollie Peoples came off the bench to score 16 points, while Dani Urick scored 11.
Kaylee Zard scored eight points and pulled down eight rebounds for Tech, which also got six points from Tjaden Pallister, four from Hailey Crawford and two apice from Megan Delaney and Jaime Berg.
Emilee Maldonado scored 17 points to lead the Argos (27, 13-8). Parker Esary added 14 points and 12 boards.
The Orediggers are back in action Saturday night, playing host to MSU-Northern at 5:30 p.m.
