Four underclassmen leaving MSU men’s program

BOZEMAN — Four 2014-15 underclassmen will not be part of the Bobcat men’s basketball program next season, Montana State coach Brian Fish announced Wednesday.

Junior forward Terrell Brown, freshmen Bradley Fisher, a center, and Joey Frenchwood, a guard, will continue their careers elsewhere in 2015-16. Sophomore forward Ryan Shannon, who played in three early-season games, has retired from basketball due to health concerns, but plans to continue at MSU as a full-time student.  Brown played in 28 of the team’s 30 games, averaging 4.1 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. Fisher played in 11 games, grabbing nine total rebounds without scoring. Frenchwood averaged 2.4 points a game while dishing out 21 assists in 24 games.

“I want to thank each of these three for their contributions this season,” Fish said. “I wish nothing but the best for them.”
