The Montana Tech men’s basketball team placed four players on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for their achievements in the classroom this past season, the school announced Monday.

Receiving the honors were Reid Baerlocher, Paul Engstrom, Brandon Rydberg and Trent Thompson.

A record number of 1,000 student-athletes from more than 350 colleges and universities were selected to the 2014-15 NABC Honors Court.

Engstrom, a senior, is a biomedical science major. Baerlocher (Business & Information Technology), Rydberg (Electrical Engineering), and Thompson (Mechanical Engineering) all graduated in June.

In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or a senior and must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
